Tmpt.me is a service that allows anyone seeking knowledge from trusted Experts to engage and learn from them. We believe that everyone deserves to learn from an Expert, and that people would rather get answers directly from an Expert than sift through content on the internet. At the same time, we know that Experts are busy, and so we’ve designed a system to make it easier for them to share their knowledge. 

Tmpt.me is based on monthly subscriptions so Knowledge Seekers can learn on an ongoing basis. Expert pricing varies, and there are often multiple subscription levels to choose from. We’re confident you’ll find the service valuable, but if there’s a rare case where you don’t, we’ll make it right. 

Tmpt.me is an AI service designed specifically to assist with the transfer of expert knowledge at scale.  We use a technique called RAG, or Retrieval Augmented Generation to improve the accuracy and reliability of generative AI models with facts fetched from your curated sources. We also build feedback loops between Experts and Seekers so that answers improve over time. The Tmpt.me tech stack includes LLMs to support natural language interactions, but the Expert is the source of knowledge, not the LLM.

Anyone with in-demand expertise can use Tmpt.me to relieve burnout, save time, and increase their reach. Our Experts include authors, advisors, coaches, instructors, and podcasters who are enjoying fast ramps to getting significant value from our service.

There are career-minded Seekers who are looking to gain confidence, grow in their role, or pivot to a new field. And other Seekers may be readers of a book or students from a workshop or class. When everyone can access an Expert they can learn from, the possibilities are limitless. 

Anyone who has a passion for sharing what they’ve learned can create a Knowledge Hub and share it with others. Whether you’re well established in your field, or just starting out, Tmpt.me can help you take the knowledge you create, collect, and curate and make it more accessible to yourself and others. 

Experts control who has access to their Knowledge Hub and AI Assistant. Tmpt.me makes it easy to receive access to a Knowledge Hub via links or QR codes, and the Expert maintains complete visibility and control. 

We use data provided to us by Experts and Knowledge Seekers as required to deliver the features of our service. We don’t sell data, and you can delete your data at any time. We have more details about how we use data and AI in our Tmpt.me AI Commitments

There are an increasing number of self-serve options for extracting knowledge from content using LLMs for summaries and question answering. Examples include Custom GPTs, “Chat with my Document” services, and NotebookLM. Some of the LLM companies allow you to upload documents directly into their chat UIs.

These are good options for some use cases, but they don’t focus on capturing knowledge on an ongoing basis, managing access for seekers of that knowledge, and continually improving accuracy of answers through Expert and Seeker feedback.
